There are too many business owners falling short on capturing their dream client(s). No matter how new or experienced you are as an online business owner, we all know that worldwide online platforms are a melting pot of personalities, values, incomes and everything in between. That being so, I consistently find that online business owners are, more often than not, trying to please and attract everyone that could even remotely be a match to their ideal customer. By doing so, these same online leaders are attracting a tiny fraction, if any, of their MOST ideal client. Today I am going to share with you, the top 3 ways to naturally capture the attention of your dream client, and it doesn’t require any special tech or ad spend!
All of your messages should be for your dream client only!
Here’s the thing, there are no excuses for attracting the wrong client to your website, landing page, or social media platform. YOU are the ONLY one that has full control of that, and until you FIRST get crystal clear on who your ideal client is, and then tailor your branding, message, content, freebies and offers 100% around THEM, and ONLY them, you will find that you attract way too many types of people and never feel like you’re reaching your dream client.
Your price has to be right! And I don’t mean cheap!
While instinct might say, “start off less expensive and raise your prices later,” I encourage you to start off where you want to be and THEN raise your prices as business comes in more and more. Money blocks are a real problem and are especially common with women. We are nurturing and caring by nature, so sometimes selling feels icky to us. We want to serve and help, therefore we accept less, do more and then don’t feel as appreciated. Let’s admit it, we’ve all been there! We do this in our home life too! Good news though, we don’t have to do it any longer, and especially online. If you know who your ideal customer is, and you know that you have something valuable that they want, ask for the investment that you are worth! The more you put it out there, and even show off your pricing with pride, the more you will attract the exact client for you!
Get inside their head
You must know the language in which your client speaks, and understands. You have to listen to their pain points, know their pleasure points and actually keep documentation of their exact words on file! I myself have a Google sheet on my Google drive that houses exact quotes and topics on my ideal customer and I often resort to it for blog ideas, landing page copy and FB live inspiration! Your ideal customer will resonate with you most, when you are able to serve them at the most intentional level, and the more exact you are on your messaging, the more people you will reach and the more leads you will capture, followed by sales.
